Known for their high-quality, locally roasted beans, Pienk Skool, led by Ernst van Rensburg and his partner Leigh-Ann, took attendees on a flavourful journey that showcased coffee’s versatility and artistry.
Following a well-received coffee pairing in Rosendal earlier in October, Ernst and Leigh-Ann welcomed guests to their hometown of Senekal for an immersive evening of coffee education, tasting, and hands-on brewing experiences. Each coffee blend was carefully paired with unique treats that enhanced and highlighted the coffee’s flavour profile, surprising even the most seasoned coffee enthusiasts.
Ernst captivated attendees with tales of his personal journey with coffee, sharing nostalgic memories of how he first discovered the art of coffee and developed a deep passion for the craft.
